Asleep at the table!

Miller is a napper, always has been (great sleeper), but for some reason on this day, he didn't take a nap at Mother's Day Out and played hard that afternoon when we got home and was so tired at dinner, he feel asleep while eating. Just thought these were too funny. He continued to chew while his eyes were closed and his hand s l o w l y fell lower and lower.

Pretend naps!

Lainey & Miller spent all day Sunday with my parents and had lots of fun. My dad has recently added this new enclosed back porch to their house and L & M think it is their new playroom. The space is not completely finished, so there isn't much furniture in there, so it gives the kids plenty of room to run around, which makes it nice for those cold & windy kind of days. So, Sunday after running and playing for awhile they decided they would grab their pillows, blankets and pacis and "pretend" nap... mom said they didn't lay down long enough to actually fall asleep. So here are a few pictures from their pretend nap time.

All snuggled up and comfy on her favorite little wicker sofa, but don't dare close those eyes.

Shhh, Miller Man is sleeping.... NOT!

Airplane fun!

Friday afternoon Lainey and Miller got to ride in Pop's airplanes. My dad was giving them a good wash, so my mom carried them to the Terrell Municipal Airport to see their Pop and have fun in the planes. They taxied down the runway and my parent's said the kids loved every minute of it. *Thanks mom for snapping these great pictures! :)

Lainey (she's in the back), Miller and my dad taxing down the taxi way... they said Miller was very intent on all of the controls and what was up ahead. He keeps asking to go again, maybe when the weather gets nicer, he will get to go up in the sky!

Happy to be in the airplane!

Bags of fun!

Tonight, Tony's stepmom (G-maw) and Tony's grandmother (Mamaw Cheek) came over and the kids put on a show. The emptied everything out of their storage bags and wore them over their heads while walking around and thought it was the funniest thing (and it was)! After the fun with the bags, Mamaw Cheek showed Miller and Lainey how to hula dance. It was too funny!

Walking bags!

Where's Miller?

Is that Lainey?

This is where they decided to get into the bags and hide.

Peek-a-boo, I see you!

Funny, funny!

Miller and Lainey are in these bags and Tony is carrying them. I wish I would have had the video out, b/c they were laughing and giggling the entire time! It was hilarous.

Whew, Daddy got a workout, carrying 32 and 24 pounds of kids down the hall!

Here is where Daddy and Miller are attempting Hula Dancing!

Bucket Head!

Yesterday we were playing outside and enjoying the nice weather before the storm and 60mph winds came today.... and Miller was being silly. He put this metal bucket on his head. So silly! They just amaze me everyday with the things they come up with. Oh, and is it just me or does he look so big and grown up in this picture?? Tony and I think he has gone through a small little growth spurt in the last week, so just as he is starting to catch up to Lainey, unfortunately, she has gone through one, too! :D

I love my kids!

Not much to blog about, but just wanted to share a picture taken today of the kids and me. I thought it was a pretty decent pic, so wanted to post. And a couple taken of Lainey & Miller being silly today. We had a laid back, not much to do weekend. Looking forward to nice weather this week!

Mommy and Me Mondays

Another pretty day, another fun day at the Arboretum! We met up with some friends at the Arboretum today for Mommy and Me Mondays. We took advantage of the petting zoo, a picnic lunch and running through the grass. We were two minutes late getting in line for face painting, the line closes at 1pm and we showed up at 1:02.... Miller was bummed. He had seen all of these little boys running around all day with a spider-man face and he wanted one, too. Oh well, there is always next Monday! Here are a few pics we took on our second trip to the Arboretum in 5 days!

Landry and Miller were holding hands in the car on the way to the Arboretum. It was so cute, I had Amber grab my camera and sneak a shot while I was driving! That is just too cute for words!

Our attempt at a group shot (minus Lilly, she was sleeping). From left to right: Landry (2), Caroline (1), Luke (4), Shaylee (3), Brooks (3), Miller (2) and Lainey (2).
